Debt Collection

Legal sense assists with debt collection. A 10% collection fee is levied ONLY on amounts that we recover successfully on the member’s behalf (this includes payment plans). The member will be guided regarding what documents are needed to commence the debt collection process, for example, a copy of the unpaid invoice. The legal sense will further advise the Member as to what terms and conditions should be in place in order to protect his/her business against future bad debt.

  • Letters of demand and final letters of demand.

Blacklisting on TransUnion (this is only applicable if the amount to be collected is undisputed or if the defence raised by the debtor is not regarded as a valid legal defence)

B) Additional services also available on a “pay as use use” basis (Should the member require any of the services listed below, payment must be made by the member via an EFT / direct deposit only, and will not be added to the monthly debit order)
